New Life Center for Thoroughbreds is proud to have successful graduates from our 5R program. We proudly follow the journeys of the horses who have completed our program and gone onto their new careers.
Wicked Ways aka “Wren”
Wren came to New Life in December of 2022 having raced just a few weeks prior. We gave her downtime and allowed her to be turned out and learn how to be a horse before re-starting her. Wren was an extremely quick study and was easily walk, trot, canter under saddle in just 45 days. Wren is a lovely mover and is currently pursuing a career in dressage with her new owner! We have no doubt that she has an extremely bright future ahead and look forward to receiving updates as she progresses in her career.
Flattering aka “Arlo”
Flattering, known as “Arlo” around the barn, arrived at New Life in March of 2023. He was donated to New Life Center for Thoroughbreds by his owner at the time. Arlo was New Life’s first lesson horse and he’s a perfect example of the versatility of off the track thoroughbreds. In the spring of 2024, Arlo found his forever home and is now enjoying all of the treats, snuggles, and lower level dressage and jumping.
Tiny Magoo aka “Tiny”
Tiny arrived from Unbridled Foundation in 2023 so that New Life could start the re-training process and help Tiny find her perfect person. In 2025, Tiny found her forever home and will enjoy being spoiled and competing in eventing and dressage.
